In 2011, First Choice Homes Oldham became a registered provider of social housing following a stock transfer from Oldham MBC. As a new organisation, FCHO needed the agility and flexibility of having control over its own HR and payroll systems. New contracts of employment were issued to staff and this meant reconfiguring systems to help HR professionals and managers better manage their teams.
Firstly, FCHO moved Selima HR & Payroll software from the local authority’s infrastructure to the highly resilient Selima Private Cloud.
Next, Selima software was completely reconfigured by FCHO staff to reflect the changes to contract terms and provide HR and managers with immediate access to key employee information.
Manager self-service ensures managers have great visibility of their teams, whether it is absence information or disciplinary records. Use of online capabilities such as booking of annual leave has completely removed paper processes.
Likewise, management information is available at the touch of a button providing both HR professionals and managers with great quality business intelligence.
FCHO is now implementing performance related pay and again Selima HR is coming into it’s own. Allowing FCHO to quickly and easily reconfigure the system to support the business as it changes.
