Selima Electoral Payroll Services – keeping you RTI compliant

As we start to see results come through from yesterday’s local and European elections, we can reflect on the tens of thousands of election staff working in thousands of polling stations around the country and consider the huge logistical challenge electoral officers face.

For 2014, there was a new complexity to deal with – the need to be RTI (Real Time Information) compliant. This meant that paying staff the old way – by sending cheques produced from data directly from the election system, would likely resulted in the authority failing to comply with the new legislation.
