Welcome to the Selima Team Q&A! Meet a different member of our team each month; find out what they do at Selima and a few fun facts. This month is the turn of Implementation Consultant Nicola Ransford.
Nicola works in the busy implementation department ensuring that all new customer needs are met and everything is running as it should be. Nicola previously worked in our Managed Payroll Department and some customers may know her as Fretwell rather than Ransford but Nicola recently got married – Congratulations Nicola!
Can you tell us a little bit about your job?
I work with new customers to establish their HR/Payroll requirements and then configure their payroll system. I also complete parallel runs to ensure the system is configured correctly and calculating in line with the statutory requirements.
Favourite part of your job?
Working closely with customers and seeing the project through from start to finish.
What is your greatest achievement to date?
Completing my AAT and CIPP Foundation Degree.
If you weren’t with Selima, what do you think you would be doing now?
Working with horses.

What is one thing about you that might surprise people?
I used to be in a Majorettes band!
